Daevion Markell Smith, the enigmatic mime artist and internet personality, has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique blend of physicality and digital presence. As the president of DMS Studios, Smith has not only redefined the art of mime but also revolutionized the way it is consumed in the digital age.
Daevion was born in Southern Virginia on September 28, 2001.  Early in life, his mother quickly saw his accelerated growth and love for the arts.  At the age of four (4), this aspiration led him to mime ministry at his home church, City of Refuge Kingdom Church. 

While in first grade, he was requested to mime at the annual Christmas concert at his Elementary School. Daevion also attended the [ODC] Old Donation Gifted School Dance Program (Now Known as Brickell Academy for Advanced Academics and Arts). Subsequently, he was invited back following his 5th grade graduation. With a natural inclination towards physical expression, he honed his skills through years of dedicated practice. Daevion was awarded for his mime presentation at the National Association for the Study and Performance of African American Music (NASPAAM). He now continues to mime for charities, non-profit organizations, conferences, workshops, services and more. Daevion has also appeared alongside the illustrious motivational speaker, Elijah Coles Brown, in the theatrical production of “Freedom Day”, written and directed by Crystal Nolan; based on the Fredrick Douglas speech, “The Present and Future of the Colored People of America”. Daevion appeared in season 1 of the YouTube series, “The Bro Code'' - alongside, Lance Everett, Ryan Williams, Tyrell Morris, and Adam Lee Henderson. The Bro Code Series, is a series highlighting Black Christian men, engaging in relevant, relatable, and genuine conversations about real-life situations that men face every day. The series is produced by C.A. Vision Media & Happily Better After.

Smith recognized the potential of social media platforms as a means to reach a wider audience. Through carefully crafted videos and captivating performances, he quickly gained a following online. His ability to convey emotions without uttering a single word resonated with viewers from all walks of life. Daevion has released many official mime videos including fan favorites like “A Move of God is on the Way'', by Norman Hutchins and “Stop Running”, Spoken word by Dr. Matthew Stevenson. These videos are now available on his Official YouTube Channel. Soon after the mime videos were released, he was cast as Melvin Weathers on TV One’s true crime series, “Payback”. As president of DMS Studios, Smith has expanded his artistic vision beyond traditional mime performances. Daevion Markell Smith is marked by innovation and creativity. From humble beginnings as a mime artist to becoming president of DMS Studios, he continues to inspire others through his unique talent and unwavering dedication to pushing artistic boundaries.
