Daevion's journey in the performing arts began at the [ODC] Old Donation Gifted School Dance Program, now recognized as Brickell Academy for Advanced Academics and Arts. His passion for physical expression led to an invitation back to the program after his 5th-grade graduation. Through years of dedicated practice, Daevion refined his skills, earning recognition for his mime presentation at the National Association for the Study and Performance of African American Music (NASPAAM).
Acknowledged for his talent, Daevion extends his mime performances to various platforms, including charities, non-profit organizations, conferences, workshops, and services. His notable collaborations include sharing the stage with motivational speaker Elijah Coles Brown in the theatrical production "Freedom Day." This production, written and directed by Crystal Nolan, is based on Frederick Douglass's speech, "The Present and Future of the Colored People of America."
Daevion's versatility is further highlighted by his appearance in Season 1 of the YouTube series "The Bro Code." Alongside fellow cast members Lance Everett, Ryan Williams, Tyrell Morris, and Adam Lee Henderson, the series amplifies the voices of Black Christian men engaging in authentic conversations about real-life situations.
